Harrison Alpha 1760XC
Presenting the most proficient CNC Lathes of the next generation. This range of CNC Lathes have been constantly developed since their first introduction to the market in 1996. They offer a wide variety of control levels from manual through to ISO all on one machine.
The industry renowned Alpha manual / CNC lathe just got even better with the addition of full c-axis, allied to a large working envelope - the Harrison Alpha 1760XC.
The addition of C-axis reduces the need for second operation production for one-offs and small batch components, whilst retaining the operational simplicity that makes the Alpha range the leading choice worldwide.
The 1760XC is the largest Alpha in the range, with a variety of bed length options and increased turret capacity.
These XC Lathes are tailored to optimise the skills of the machine operator, offering an extensive machine envelope for the efficient production of a wide variety of components from small to medium size batches. Complemented with the new generation FANUC Oi TF controls with touch screen and be spoke software systems allows the machines to give extreme CNC capabilities across the board.
The Alpha XC range now comes with additional 3-Axis capabilities for milling, drilling and tapping at the machine. All the Alpha X series lathes are perfectly suited for producing detailed and intricate one offs to the highest standard of finish and accuracy. With their advanced FANUC control and software systems, they are ideal for turning small to medium-sized batches with fast, high-quality repeatability, excellent accuracy and surface finish and most importantly of all, lower production costs.
Alpha quality, plus a wide range of training options, has made Alpha lathes the favourite choice for industry, colleges and training centres around the world. Ideal training features include compatibility with industry standard ISO programs and Colchester’s AlphaLink software which enables multi-desk training to be given.
The Alpha XC range of Colchester CNC Lathes gives machine technicians a full range of milling, drilling and tapping capabilities for all types of machining applications, that can be carried out simply and easily, reducing the need for second operation production for one-offs and small batch components, whilst retaining the operational simplicity that makes the Alpha range the leading choice worldwide.
